Mental health support is the core of our Ipswich work

More than half our Ipswich caseload involves psychosocial disability. That means psychosocial recovery coaching, specialist mental health support and positive behaviour support implementation delivered by workers trained for it, not general support workers filling a gap. Our recovery coaches hold lived-experience or clinical mental health backgrounds, and we keep caseloads small enough that the same person shows up each week, which is the part that actually makes recovery coaching work.

From Springfield Lakes to Rosewood

A participant in Rosewood and a participant in Springfield Lakes are both Ipswich addresses, but they are a long way apart and the public transport between them is thin. We roster geographically so your funded hours are not spent sitting in a car. We tell you before you sign what the provider travel component will be for your address, and wherever possible we match you with a support worker who already lives in your suburb so the charge is negligible. In the newer estates around Ripley Valley and Augustine Heights, where the road network is still catching up, this makes a measurable difference to how many hours you actually receive.
